As I already mentioned in the beginning of this week, me and my boyfriend had a great time during the entire trip. We were staying in Laganas, the southernmost part of the island. This village is characterized by a beautiful, stretched beach and many restaurants, clubs and bars. I must admit, we did not explore the island at all, but went to the same part of the beach and the same restaurant every day and that was the best part! We really like to have a routine on vacation, without any stress where to go for lunch or a drink.
I don’t have to stress enough that our vacation revolved around great food and countless cocktails :) We went to a bar and restaurant Driftwood every single day. It was located just right next to our deck chairs on the beach, so we had everything within our reach. The food was amazing; besides insanely tasty burgers and sandwiches, they had local food as well, such as gyros (yum yumm), feta cheese etc. The atmosphere was very pleasant as well.
As far as drinks are concerned … During happy hour, we got two cocktails for the price of one (5 euros), which was a real bargain. And not to mention that they really were great!
The temperatures in September are quite lower than during the peak of the season. Although it rained for the first few days, the temperatures were pleasant and even downpours did not ruin our mood. Since Laganas is very touristy, merry youth can easily disturb your night. However, if you are a bit more outgoing type of a person, I would definitely recommend going out, because they really seemed to be having so much fun! :) To recap, we had a great time and will definitely go back in the future :) Lovely weekend to you all ♥
