There is nothing better than a good breakfast. And for breakfast it is really hard to beat homemade granola! A bit of yoghurt, some fruit and granola … Just to make myself clear, this picture makes the cup much bigger than it is in reality! Nevertheless, the most simple recipe will be posted next week. Take care ♥

Nič ni boljšega kot odličen zajtrk. In za zajtrk je po mojem mnenju težko prekositi doma narejene muslije! Malo jogurta, malo sadja in musliji … In samo da se zaščitim, na sliki je posodica veliko večja, kot je v resnici! Najbolj enostaven recept zanje pa sledi naslednji teden. Lepo bodite ♥

Bananana ice cream!

I know I promised to write down a recipe for raw chocolates, but a day like today, finally looking like a summer day after quite some time, simply deserves a tasty ice cream. An ice cream with only one exquisite ingredient! Now, this is why I put two ripe and cut bananas in the refrigerator – to make an ice cream! It may not be the best idea, since I was lying in bed with a high temperature last week, but summer weather is here again and I could not resist the call of the ice cream! And yes, I had it even before lunch.

Vem, da sem obljubila, da se bom najprej lotila recepta za presno čokolado, vendar si današnji dan, po dolgem času spet poletni, enostavno zasluži okusen sladoled. Sladoled s samo eno izvrstno sestavino! Zato sem včeraj v zmrzovalnik čez noč spravila dve narezani zreli banani, da danes naredim sladoled! Morda to ni bila najboljša ideja, ker sem prejšnji teden doma ležala z vročino, vendar je končno spet poletno vreme in se sladolednemu klicu nisem mogla upreti! In ja, pojedla sem ga pred kosilom.

We need:

4 ripe bananas    a blender

Cut the bananas into pieces and put them in the refrigerator. The next day, put them in the blender and start with the procedure. The bananas go through different stages before becoming an actual ice cream. At first, they are crushed and frozen, then they increasingly become soft and at the end, we have a tasty and creamy ice cream texture. Just to mention, I did the first part with the blender and when the bananas were crushed, I put them in a bowl and used a hand blender. It is still the most effective in my opinion, and I have a complete control over what exactly I want to blend :)

Potrebujemo:

4 zrele banane    mešalnik

Banane narežemo in čez noč pustimo v zmrzovalniku. Naslednji dan jih stresemo v mešalnik in pričnemo s postopkom. Preden pridemo do sladoleda, morajo banane čez nekaj faz. Najprej so zdrobljene in ledene, nato pa postajajo vedno bolj mehke in na koncu dobimo dobro, kremasto sladoledno teksturo. Samo da omenim, jaz sem najprej začela z mešalnikom, ko pa so bile banane popolnoma zdrobljene, sem jih stresla v posodo in nadaljevala s paličnim mešalnikom. Zame je še vedno najbolj učinkovit, pa še boljši nadzor imam nad tem, kaj točno želim mešati :)

If the ice cream gets too soft after blending, you can put it in the refrigerator for 15 minutes. Then serve ♥ Mine was completely plain, but you can of course experiment with flavors as you wish – add pieces of chocolate just before you stop blending, or cinnamon, coconut, peanut butter … If the weather stays nice, I will definitely make some more and make a report! :)

Če je sladoled po končanem mešanju že preveč mehek, ga lahko postavimo v zmrzovalnik za 15 minut. Nato postrežemo ♥ Moj je bil popolnoma brez vsega, vi pa lahko seveda eksperimentirate po svoje – tik pred koncem lahko dodate koščke čokolade, cimet, kokos, arašidovo maslo … Če bo vreme še naprej lepo, bom zagotovo še kakšnega naredila in ga tudi dokumentirala! :)

Raw chocolate seashells

I have been watching pictures of raw and homemade chocolates with love several times. While grinding raw cacao beans for muesli and smoothies, I was suddenly mixing coconut oil, raw cacao and coconut sugar in a cup! I did not deal with ratios, so a bit more accurate recipe will follow after I sit down and research the area of raw chocolates a bit. Then I filled the seashell silicon ice cube tray with the chocolate mixture and put it in the freezer for five minutes. These chocolates are completely cold after I took them out …

Večkrat sem že z ljubeznijo opazovala slike presnih in doma narejenih čokoladic. Včeraj sem za muslije in smoothieje mlela presna kakavova zrna in kar na enkrat sem v lončku mešala kokosovo maslo, presni kakav in kokosov sladkor! Z razmerji sestavin se nisem ukvarjala, tako da bolj natančen recept pride čez nekaj časa, ko še malo raziščem področje presnih čokoladic. S čokoladno maso sem napolnila silikonski model za ledene kocke v obliki školjk ter jo za pet minut postavila v zmrzovalnik. To so še popolnoma hladne čokoladice, takoj ko sem jih vzela ven …

I think it is needless to say that these chocolates were eaten immediately. They were so creamy, not too sweet, just great! Honey, hazelnuts or pollen must surely go along as well. But more about that the next time when I will make chocolates in a more organized way :)

Zdi se mi, da ni potrebno poudarjati, da smo čokoladice takoj pojedli. Tako so kremaste, ne preveč sladke, odlične! Zagotovo so dobre tudi z medom, lešniki, cvetnim prahom itd. Več o tem pa naslednjič, ko se bom izdelave čokoladic lotila bolj načrtovano :)

The perfect start of the day

I wish I had the time for a peaceful morning every day. It feels great to sip coffee and read some news during the week, too. I just cannot imagine to start the day without a good cup of coffee anymore! Currently, I love the Nescafé Dolce Gusto coffee called Grande Aroma, which is perfect to make a big cup. Since I drink mine without any sugar and milk, I sprinkle some cinnamon in it to create a bit more pleasant atmosphere. Later on, it was, of course, time to work, go for a walk and do some yoga! I wish you a lovely week! ♥

Ko bi le vsak dan imela čas za mirno jutro. Včasih je tudi med tednom prijetno v miru spiti kavico in prebrati novice. Brez dobre kave si začetka dneva sploh ne morem več predstavljati! Trenutno obožujem Nescafé Dolce Gusto kavico Grande Aroma, s katero lahko pripravimo velik lonček kave. Ker kavo pijem brez sladkorja in mleka, si za bolj prijetno vzdušje vanjo natresem malo cimeta. Kasneje pa so na vrsto seveda prišli delo, sprehod in joga! Prijeten teden želim! ♥

Gluten-free brownies

You may have noticed by now that I never use wheat flour. The reason lies in my allergy to wheat ♥ Although I have a bit more restricted diet because of that, it doesn’t stop me from creating divine desserts, such as (PAST TENSE) these chocolate brownies. Only three pieces survived until the morning. It wasn’t until then that I’ve realised the brownies are even better the next day! Well, when these small eyes notice something so tasty it’s really hard to stop. The recipe is really simple and very economical from the perspective of dirty dishes. Let’s go! :)

Do zdaj ste verjetno že opazili, da pšenične moke nikoli ne uporabljam. Razlog se skriva v alergiji na pšenico ♥ Čeprav imam zaradi tega malo omejen način prehranjevanja, me to ne ustavi pri ustvarjanju božanskih sladic, kot so bili (PRETEKLIK) tile čokoladni browniji. Do naslednjega jutra so preživeli le trije koščki in šele takrat sem ugotovila, da so dan kasneje še bolj okusni! Ah, ko te majcene oči vidijo nekaj tako dobrega, se je res težko ustaviti. Recept je res izjemno enostaven, poleg tega pa je vsaj z vidika umazane posode zelo ekonomičen. Pa pojdimo! :)

We’ll need:

225 dark chocolate    200 g butter    2 tsp cinnamon    3 eggs    2 tbsp honey    

 50 g ground almonds    100 g chopped walnuts

Melt chocolate and butter together using the water bath method. Then mix all the remaining ingredients in a bowl. When the chocolate and butter mixture cools down a bit, pour over the ingredients in the bowl. Take a fork, mix everything together thoroughly and pour into a baking tray (24 cm), covered with parchment paper. Put in oven on 170 ºC for 30 minutes (or a few minutes longer if you think it’s not ready yet). Leave the brownies to cool a bit and serve.

Potrebujemo:

225 g temne čokolade  ♥  200 g masla    2 žlički cimeta    3 jajca   2 žlici medu            

  50 g mletih mandljev    100 g nasekljanih orehov

Maslo in čokolado skupaj stopimo v parni kopeli. Nato v posodo stresemo preostale sestavine. Ko se mešanica čokolade in masla malenkost ohladiti, jo zlijemo v posodo. Z vilicami vse dobro zmešamo in prelijemo v pekač (dolžina 24 cm), prekrit s peki papirjem. Brownije pečemo 30 minut v pečici, ogreti na 170 ºC (kakšno minuto več, če se vam zdi, da še ni pečeno). Počakamo, da se malo ohladijo, in postrežemo.

They are incredible, so chocolatey … and they’re made so quickly! For a more “healthy” version of brownies, chocolate can be replaced with (raw) cacao. You can add dried fruits or any other kind of nuts as well. Plus, they make a wonderful gift for dessert lovers! I know I’d be happy to receive such a present myself ;) Bon appétit!

Izjemno okusni so, tako čokoladasti …. in tako hitro so pripravljeni! Za bolj “zdrave” brownije lahko čokolado zamenjamo s (presnim) kakavom. Dodamo lahko tudi suho sadje ali kakšno drugo vrsto oreščkov. Poleg tega so lahko odlično darilo za ljubitelje sladic! Vem, da bi jaz z veseljem prejela takšno pozornost ;) Dober tek!

Keep Calm & Drink A Green Smoothie

Hi there! Ahh, the days just go by and sometimes I don’t even have time to stop and take a deep breath. I’ve been really busy for the last couple of weeks, and then I had some proofreading to do. My working days were much more pleasant because of an excellent green smoothie you really have to try. I’ve made it almost every single day, since I always feel great afterwards. And finally I managed to make a real green smoothie, the recipe: lots of green vegetables and a hand blender! It’s so creamy and delicious that I may like it even more than the strawberry one! I know, you’ll say it’s impossible … but I really do :)

Zdravo! Joj, dnevi gredo kar mimo in včasih nimam niti časa, da bi se ustavila in globoko zadihala. Zadnja dva tedna sem imela res zasedena, nato sem pa še nekaj lektorirala. Delavne dneve sem si lepšala z odličnim zelenim smoothiejem, ki ga res morate poskusiti. Naredila sem ga skoraj vsak dan, saj se po njem vedno počutim naravnost odlično. Končno pa mi je uspelo narediti res zelen smoothie, recept: veliko zelene zelenjave in navaden palični mešalnik! Tako je kremast in okusen, da mi je verjetno celo bolj všeč od jagodnega smoothieja! Vem, skoraj nemogoče … ampak ga res premaga :)

We’ll need:

one banana    lots of fresh spinach    a bunch of parsley    1/4 avocado    1 cup water

Blend all the ingredients together with a hand blender for a few minutes. This recipe just couldn’t be easier! ;)

Potrebujemo:

eno banano    veliko sveže špinače    šop peteršilja    1/4 avokada    kozarec vode

Vse sestavine nekaj minut mešamo s paličnim mešalnikom. Bolj enostavno res ne more biti! ;)

Strawberry Macarons in pictures

My sister’s friend had a bachelorette party on Friday and since I’m a super cool younger sister, I was invited too! ;) For this occasion, I decided to make macarons, although I completely failed the first time a few months ago. I thoroughly interrogated my friend about her recipe and Macarons No. 2. were much more successful! It took me 4 hours to make 30 macarons, but I’m still completely thrilled about them :) They were not perfect and I will make them again in the next few weeks. Then I’ll show you the recipe that will (hopefully) be a success. I can nevertheless show you some pictures from the making process and the final product.

V petek je imela sestrina prijateljica dekliščino in ker sem super kul mlajša sestra, sem bila povabljena tudi jaz! ;) Za to priložnost sem se odločila, da po prvem porazu delanja macaronsov pred nekaj meseci ponovno poskusim. Prijateljico sem podrobno izprašala o njenem receptu in Macaronsi No. 2 so veliko bolje uspeli! Sicer sem 30 macaronsov delala skoraj 4 ure, vendar sem popolnoma navdušena :) Niso bili ravno popolni, bom pa v naslednjih tednih ponovno poskusila in vam predstavila recept, ki bo (upam) resnično uspel. Vseeno pa vam lahko pokažem nekaj slik iz priprave in končni izdelek.
