I have not drunk milk for quite a few years, but I nevertheless want to have it with my coffee sometimes. I usually bought soy milk, but I prefer the nutty one so I decided to make one by myself. Hazelnuts were the only kind I found at home, so I prepared hazelnut milk!
Kravjega mleka že nekaj let ne pijem, vendar mi včasih vseeno paše, da bi ga imela v kavi. Običajno sem kupovala sojino mleko, ker pa mi je boljše mleko iz oreščkov, sem se odločila, da ga bom pripravila kar sama. Doma sem od oreščkov imela samo lešnike, tako da sem naredila lešnikovo mleko!
We will need:
a cup of hazelnuts, soaked overnight ♥ 3 cups water ♥ blender (can use a hand blender) ♥ kitchen towel ♥ you can also use honey, cinnamon etc.
Blend the cup of hazelnuts with a cup of water. Then add two cups of water and blend again. Cover a container with a kitchen towel and press it into the container with your hand. Slowly pour your mixture over the towel and wait for a few minutes. Then remove the towel, hold it above the container and squeeze it a little.

Lonček namočenih mandljev zmešano z lončkom vode in dobro zmeljemo z mešalnikom. Nato dodamo še dva lončka vode in ponovno mešamo. Čez višjo posodo položimo kuhinjsko krpo in jo z roko potisnemo v posodo. Notri počasi zlijemo mešanico in nekaj minut počakamo. Nato krpo dvignemo in jo še malo stisnemo.

Ja, lešnikovega tudi jaz nisem prej naredila. Poskusit moram še iz indijskih in brazilskih oreščkov :)
